When I first started wedding photography and long before Sean joined me as my brilliant second shooter, I photographed Ilse’s wedding. Ilse in turn put us in touch with Alison and Marius, a couple with the loveliest family. They have a gorgeous and lively little girl and a very mature and handsome young boy.

The atmosphere on their wedding day was festive and completely filled with laughter. After so many years together and having built a family together, seeing them have fun and laugh together like true friends was inspiring and beautiful. Certain things should just never change. And yes, things don’t always have to be perfect, but your home should be a safe and warm place where you can be yourself and enjoy the people around you. Alison has a band of close friends who cheered and danced as one of them serenaded her and Marius with a song during the reception, but not before a performance by one of the most beautiful voices! I can’t remember if he’s a family member or friend, but this man gave us chills with his talent….

We were so happy to share such a special day with this wonderful couple and the people they love. We can assure you there was never a dull moment :) Thank you for the privilege of being there, may you be blessed in everything you do!
